OC Register: 2 arrested after discovery of residential brothel in Irvine
Two men were arrested on suspicion of sex trafficking after police discovered a brothel in an Irvine home that the men allegedly were advertising on fliers placed on neighbors’ cars, police said.
A witness had reported suspicious activity at the home in Cypress Village, police said on social media on Friday.
On Wednesday, Irvine’s Specialized Investigations Unit arrested Qiyin Jiaqiyin, 51, of Irvine, and Xiaoming Ding, 36, of Whittier, after executing a search warrant at the residence and discovering a brothel, police said.
“The fliers described available females at the residence,” Irvine Police Department Public Information Officer Kyle Oldoerp said.
Three victims at the residence were given information on victim assistance before leaving the property.
The two men were booked into Orange County Jail on suspicion of sex trafficking.
