Orange County Sheriff’s investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying two men suspected of assaulting a woman in Laguna Niguel late last month.
On the evening of Jan. 26, a woman was walking to her vehicle in “a public space” when she was approached by two men who began attacking her, according to Sgt. Ryan Anderson, a spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. When authorities arrived, the woman was taken to a hospital and treated for injuries.
The woman did not recognize the suspects who attacked her, authorities said. No weapons were seen or used in the attack.
One suspect was described as 5-foot, 7 inches tall, about 30 years old, Hispanic and with a sleeved tattoo on his right arm. The second suspect was described as 5-foot, 8 inches tall, about 40 years old and Hispanic.

The investigation is ongoing but believed to be an isolated incident, Anderson said.
